Our client is hiring an SAP FICO Analyst

As an ambassador to the Information and Business Systems sector and, more specifically, the Business Solutions and Document Management team, you complete the requisite tasks to meet internal clients' needs by contributing to the support, maintenance and evolution of the SAP environment, and the FICO modules in particular. Thus, you contribute to analysis activities in addition to executing design, configuration and rollout activities to fulfil client requests.

You will be a champion at:

  • Writing business requirement and functional requirement documents;
  • Identifying SAP solutions based on best practices to meet client needs;
  • Maintaining a standard system with few customizations;
  • Preparing functional test plans, and participating in testing;
  • Defining acceptance test plans, and supporting users when conducting acceptance testing;
  • Participating in determining activities and steps needed to realize and implement the solution;
  • Collaborating with other members of the team to facilitate problem-solving, activity completion and priority management;
  • Supporting business analysis activities related to the documentation of business needs, impact analysis, preparation of the operational support model or any other business analysis activities;
  • Act, both autonomously and with super users, as support specialist for business line users;
  • Apply the configuration steps, and prepare transports;
  • Maintain the relevant documentation in Solution Manager;
  • Manage CRs and CDs in CHaRM;
  • Participate in planning activities for the supported business division;
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers;
  • Collaborate actively with external partners and service providers.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management systems, computer science or any other related field;
  • A strong, enviable command of FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, CO, AA, etc. – SAP FICO certification, an asset);
  • Good knowledge of Solution Manager 7.1 or 7.2 and CHaRM;
  • A sound practical understanding of integrations into other modules (MM/SD) as well as other integration methods (IDoc, etc.);
  • Experience participating with eagerness and commitment as an SAP analyst in several large-scale projects, through every stage (blueprint, execution, final preparation, go-live and support);
  • Experience preparing functional analyses in an SAP solution context with many integrated components;
  • Expert level in the ECC version (EHP6 or more recent);
  • A keenness for applying business process documentation techniques;
  • Ease with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Visio;
  • A major ability to influence, superior spoken and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Analytical skills and insight;
  • An amazing capacity for displaying autonomy, initiative, adaptability and flexibility;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and other stakeholders and an excellent team spirit centred on collaboration;
  • An ability to manage and carry out several tasks simultaneously, either independently or as a team member, and to meet deadlines;
  • Exceptional ease in English and French.
