Our Calgary based client requires a SAP Technical Project Manager for an ongoing S4HANA program. You will have minimum 5 years leading SAP projects in both the Business and Technical domain with experience in SAP BASIS, Integration, release, and security  Good experience driving business projects, gaging risk and mitigating issues.  

Role: SAP Business Technical Project Manager
Start Date:  June /July 2024
End Date: INITIAL contract 6 months – good potential for an extension 
Location: Calgary Remote/Hybrid- minimal ADHOC  travel may be required
 
Requirements:

- minimum 5+ years leading SAP business driven projects especially in the technical domain with experience in BASIS, Integration, release, and security
- must have a good general understanding of SAP modules, and SAP delivery models
- good understanding of SAP landscapes and environment strategies
- Strong facilitation skills interacting with many stakeholders’ teams
- Strong understanding of SOX and external audit requirements
- excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, ability to multitask
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- PMP certification needed with agile experience will be an asset
- SAP Functional and/or architecture experience preferred

• Demonstration of strong leadership skills through specific project team examples.
• Experience working with technical financial solutions and working knowledge of accounting practices through education or hands on experience.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with expert fluency in Microsoft tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competent and proficient understanding of a variety of technology platforms, including ERP’s such as SAP and PeopleSoft as well as current Internet technologies.
• Proven strength in the application and interpretation of Project Management methodologies.
• Industry recognized certification in Project Management, with post certification experience.
• Bachelor's degree from recognized post-secondary institution.
• At least 5 years of business project management experience
