Our Calgary based client has a requirement for a Senior  a Advisor, Procure to Pay, (ARIBA) Business Analyst.... a very strong   P2P/ARIBA Process specialist   

Start Date: August  5, 2024
End: August 5, 2025
Location:    Hybrid Delivery/ remote and onsite , travel required to Calgary and Saskatoon 

Requirements: 

• Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree required, Business, Computer Science or Supply Chain Management preferred.

• Extensive experience in SAP Ariba procurement modules
  Broad experience in supply chain, procurement, accounts payable, specifically in the full source to pay process.

• 6+ years related experience with over 4 years’ experience in a supply chain role.

• Ability to develop the relationships and support necessary to bring the best-integrated systems solutions to the wholesale and retail sites.

• Clear and excellent understanding of, and practical experience with SAP Ariba, SAP ECC, and Oracle

• Advanced skills in Microsoft, Excel, and other MS Office Applicate

• High degree of ethics, discretion, honesty, fairness, and sound business practices

• Interpersonal skills – Sr. Advisor will serve as front line point of contact with external and internal stakeholders

The Role:

• Focus on the sustainment of procure to pay in Ariba Downstream, acting as the subject matter expert by providing timely advice and end-user support.

• Work closely with Wholesale and Retail stakeholders to align procurement best practices across business units and support sustainment activities in Ariba Buying Invoicing and Ariba Guided Buying.

• Work closely with Wholesale and Retails stakeholders to strengthen value across all business units, identifying potential process gaps and working towards a resolution that creates the best overall outcome in support of procurement objectives.

• Support Ariba Catalogs and Integrations through hyper care, and sustainment handoff to business. Deliver the necessary communication to internal stakeholders as it relates to hyper care and sustainment.

• Work in partnership with Procure to Pay Functional Support team to align system capabilities with procurement best practices and measure the adoption and value of procurement technology investments.

• Work in partnership with the Procure to Pay Functional support team to support continuous improvement opportunities and improved efficiency in the source to pay process and deliver the necessary communication and training to internal stakeholders.

• Lead the Ariba Site Champion network by providing updates, enhancement communication, continuous improvement opportunities, and training, identifying process gaps and supporting the business in developing a standard process for the sustainment of the source to pay process.

• Support the strategy for internal user training through the creation of a specialized Hub for user support, ensuring training material is up to date.

• Monitor and triage user support requests, as necessary, to the appropriate support groups, ensuring communication and updates are provided.

• Act as an advocate for Procurement interests, working to strengthen the best outcomes for the Company

• Perform additional tasks as assigned and defined by the Manager, Procurement Systems Governance, Ariba Downstream
