Job Description

Our Client is looking for an experienced SAP Manufacturing (PP/DS) Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
Start: ASAP
Location: Toronto
Travel: Minimal (>10%)
 
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Mixture of Support, Centre of Excellence and Project work
  • Support the project plan around the evolution of materials requirements planning, strategic sourcing, manufacturing, and inventory management
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, process harmonization, report design and business metadata collection workshops
  • Employ subject matter expertise and strong analytical skills to identify opportunities in terms of automation and improvements, profitability and cost savings
  • Analyze and evaluate integration opportunities and solutions
  • Support creation of comprehensive requirements and technical specification documents
  • Support the design of test plans, execution of test scenarios and documentation of results, as well as training and training documentation for testing
  • Support the live functionality for day-to-day operation
  • Provide innovative ideas to enhance existing functionality to improve end user productivity
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years work experience with SAP ERP, specifically in SAP PP/DS, ideally 1-2 years with S/4
  • Experience with at least one complete SAP ERP life cycle implementation, preferably on S/4 HANA
  • Strong overall SAP functional knowledge in SAP S/4 Manufacturing (PP/DS)
  • Knowledge in SAP EWM, WM and other modules is a plus
  • An excellent communicator with a strong consulting presence, equally comfortable building hands-on solutions in a team environment and advising senior leadership
  • Proven understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between functional modules of SAP
  • Strong root cause identification skills, and can highlight issues with the right sense of urgency and priority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, and aptitude developing productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and the ERP project team
  • Ambitious, action and outcome oriented future leader, willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. Endorsement from current and previous leaders is required
  • Provide production support as needed, with problem resolution and escalation where necessary (on-call support may be required)
  • Computer Science, Engineering or related degree, with formal training in the areas of ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of industry common SDLC and ITIL frameworks
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
 
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
