Job Description

Our Client is looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Project Manager for a long-term contract engagement.
 
Start: February 2020
End: December 2020
Duration: 10 – 12 months
Location: Chicago and/or Toronto
Travel: Yes. To Chicago and other points in the US
 
Role:
The client is implementing a suite of SuccessFactors modules across the Globe. The SAP SuccessFactors Project Manager will be working on site with the client in their US and Canadian offices ensuring the country plans and deliverables are achieved in line with that of the Global project team. Focus will be on the US implementation. Modules being implemented include SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation and Workforce Analytics
 
Key Tasks:
  • Build and Maintenance of Project Plans, in line with that of the overall Global plan
  • Day to day Project Management of USA Project Implementation 
  • Liaison with 3rd parties, client IT and Systems Integrators staff to plan and deliver required  solution interfaces
  • Local Testing Management in line with the Global Testing strategy and plans 
  • Local Data Management in line with the Global Data Migrations strategy and plans 
  • Local Business Change Management in line with the Global Change Management Strategy
  • Resource management for local USA business or IT allocated staff
  • Management of USA items within RAID log and ensuring items are delivered to deadlines
  • Supporting client to achieve their project deliverables Including hand-on where required   
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management including project status reporting against plan and budget
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years Project Management experience in the implementation of complex global solutions, of which at least 5 years should be in HCM project delivery
  • Experience leading at least 3 SuccessFactors projects
  • Must also have comprehensive hands-on experience either as a certified SuccessFactors consultant or as a Business Process Lead with HCM business process knowledge in Core HR plus at least one of the following – Recruitment, Onboarding, Compensation or Performance Management
  • Must have knowledge of Employee Central enabling them to help the customer achieve their deliverables.  
  • A strong communicator and stakeholder manager, able to influence at senior management level both within and outside EHS
  • Expert in the use of Activate methodology or a formal Project Management certification such as Prince2
  • Expert in all aspects of Project Management including Budget, Planning and Risk Management 
  • An experienced leader with the ability to motivate others
  • Must be located in either Toronto or Chicago and flexible to travel to client sites within the USA
 
Must have Work Authorization for US or US and Canada.
