Job Description

Our Client is looking for a techno-functional SAP TM/WM Consultant for a one-year engagement.
 
Start: March 2020
Duration: 1 year (employment contract)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Role:
The IT Specialist - Integration position engages directly with business users, process owners and management. This role is responsible for managing configuration, business process changes, functional specifications, testing, user manuals and training documentation and for providing business consultancy, change leadership and system support in the areas of Transportation Management Solutions (Transplace or SAP), Inventory and Warehouse Management (including Extended Warehouse Management) and Sales and Distribution.
  • Supports the SAP application landscape to ensure the healthy operation of the SAP Sales and Distribution, IM, WM, EWM and Transportation Management (Transplace) applications.
  • Analyzes business requirements and designs solutions;
  • Configures SAP modules, primarily in the modules previously identified
  • Develops and supports ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) programs as required;
  • Provides detailed written instruction and documentation, provision of end user support, and training on programs and applications in SAP;
  • Collects and analyzes facts to identify problems and provide solutions;
  • Provides end user support as required;
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in the process design, configuration, support and trouble-shooting in SAP TM and WM modules
  • Strong technical and functional competency in SAP configuration, particularly in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WM and EWM (Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse Management) and Inventory Management.
  • Experience with SD (Sales and Distribution) and MRP modules is a major asset
  • Should have familiarity, if not hands on development experience with ABAP
  • Experience with integration and involving non-SAP ERP systems
  • Organized and task oriented.  Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met
  • Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad based information systems and utilizing advanced tools and techniques to effect business change
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
