Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse Architect.
Start date: Between December 1, 2024 and January 15, 2025 Duration: 12-month with strong possibility for extension Remote work

CANDIDATE MUST BE BASED IN QUEBEC
Responsibilities:
Perform functional or multidimensional data modeling;
Validate the functional and technical specifications related to data processing, based on business rules;
Participate in workshops with various stakeholders (client, implementation team, database administrator (DBA), etc.);
Validate the various documents produced by stakeholders (e.g. functional data extraction files);
Participate in the definition of information data management rules;
Validate architecture orientations with regard to the field of business intelligence;
Participate in quality assurance activities for information products;
Participate in the conduct of integrated, acceptance and performance tests (including defect corrections, retesting and updating documentation);
Recommend best practices and support their application, particularly in the development of data warehouse and staging processes, extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processing, security and business intelligence;
Participate in the development and program, as needed, data transformations with BW;
Ensure the performance of the components of the business intelligence solutions in production to ensure compliance with service levels.
Without being exhaustive, here is the list of the main deliverables that may be produced:
Conceptual data model;
Physical data model (dimensional and transactional);
Data flow model (participation);
Database structures;
BW software component (e.g. data desk, ADSO, InfoObjet);
Recommendations related to their field of expertise;
Data quality enhancement plan (participation).
Requirements
Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology;
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Data Warehouse Architecture Specialist;
In the last five (5) years, have completed one (1) mandate involving the development of ABAP or AMDP Script HANA routines;
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with one or more SAP data warehouse tools such as: SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP DATASPHERE.
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
