Our Calgary based client has an urgent requirement for AI & Azure DevOps Process Consultant , they are looking for a development engineer to improve the software development lifecycle for both developers and integration workflows through AI and automation. This role focuses on applying AI to code analysis, test creation, and release validation, while building and maintaining secure and reliable Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Hybrid or Remote delivery.

Role & Responsibilities
· Design and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve developer productivity and delivery quality
· Integrate AI into development and integration workflows using tools such as Codex, and evaluate tools such as Claude where appropriate
· Apply AI to code analysis, test creation, release validation, and pipeline feedback
· Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines that support reliable automation and integration
· Develop tooling and automation that improve both developer and integration processes
· Strengthen build, test, release, and deployment workflows through intelligent automation
Requirements
· Senior Development engineer 8+ years experience
· Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline experience
· Experience with AI-assisted code analysis, test creation, or release validation
· Familiarity with Azure services and secure pipeline design
· Strong experience with VS Code
· Experience using Codex in software development workflows
Nice to Have
· Exposure to Claude or similar AI tools for engineering productivity
· Experience with Rider
