Job Details:
As an SAP S4HANA SD Functional Architect - Order to Cash, you will be responsible for architecting and designing innovative SAP solutions that meet complex business requirements and ensure seamless integration through to implementation.
You will lead collaboration with system integrators, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices while enhancing the user experience.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and end-users to deliver efficient, simplified processes that drive business objectives.
You will own the solution design, oversee development, validate functional requirements, and define and execute test plans.
This role requires managing projects, enhancements, and critical support work, with support activities handled by managed service teams.
You will join a team of 3 SAP O2C resources and report directly to the Functional SAP O2C Lead.
What You Will Do:
Architect and design SAP S4HANA Order to Cash solutions with a creative, outside-the-box approach.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and end-users to align SAP solutions with business goals.
Simplify and optimize processes for greater efficiency.
Oversee and validate development activities, ensuring quality and alignment with requirements.
Define and execute test plans and analyze results to confirm solution effectiveness. Support escalation and resolution of critical issues alongside managed service teams.
Take ownership of projects and enhancements, working independently and proactively.
What You Will Bring:
Minimum 8 years of practical SAP functional solution design experience;
Architect ideally 12-15 years.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD; GTS experience is a plus.
Recent hands-on experience designing complex, custom SAP solutions.
Experience in retail or industries selling physical goods (e.g., companies with logistics/trucking).
Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
Ownership mindset with results-driven focus and ability to multitask.
Willingness to learn, teach, and share knowledge.
Must have Work Authorization for USA or Canada
