Our client has a requirement for a Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst Start Date: January 20, 2025 End Date: May 19, 2025 Location: Calgary/Remote In this role providing cyber security solutions, you would assist the team in reducing risk to the organization. What You Will Do:
Develop Cybersecurity policy and standards
Establish new processes for Cyber risk management and governance
Remediate Cyber risk maturity gaps
Document systems and processes, to improve overall Cyber Maturity
Collaborate with Cybersecurity and business leaders to understand business priorities and risk objectives
What you will bring:
Technical diploma or degree in an IT related field
3-10 years of experience in cybersecurity risk and compliance
Cyber security-related certifications are an asset: CISSP, CRISC, CISM, etc.
Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and 27002 is strongly desired
Strong experience supporting audit and remediation
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical matters in easy-to-understand non-technical terms
Ability to identify priorities and ensure work is completed within stipulated timeframes
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
