Our client is looking for an IBP Architect for a 3-6 month remote mandate. Start date is now.
Responsibilities:
- Organizational Management: Lead the sales planning process, driving strategy for inventory management, service levels, and purchasing activities.
- Ensure alignment through effective communication of policies, processes, and KPIs.
- S&OP Demand Planning: Develop and implement Demand Planning processes, driving continuous improvement in collaboration with Sales and Product Planning. Leading both direct and indirect teams, you'll manage the Monthly Sales Consensus Process and ensure alignment across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics to enhance overall planning maturity and effectiveness.
- Supply Planning and Procurement: Lead Supply Planning and Procurement, shaping monthly constrained supply plans and ensuring timely execution of purchasing processes.
- Optimize purchasing proposals and maintain accurate, up-to-date incoming supply through close collaboration with factories and the Supply Chain team.
- Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement strategy designed to optimize inventory availability at the Product and Location levels. Develop and implement processes to optimize overall supply chain costs and lead time via best practice planning and collaboration with factories. Minimize unproductive inventory and collaborate with Logistics to ensure optimal warehouse balance of inventory
- Sales Throughput: Develop and implement a strategy to accelerate sales throughput by effectively managing constrained product allocation and optimizing order release. Ensuring visibility and alignment in inventory allocation processes, you'll implement continuous improvement practices to streamline management while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Strategic Influencer: You thrive in dynamic environments where you may not have full control, demonstrating strong, confident leadership while effectively guiding teams beyond your direct reports. You adeptly navigate challenges, maintain trust, and communicate with clarity, even when making difficult decisions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years progressive leadership roles in Supply Chain, S&OP Planning and Procurement
- Demonstrated experience in statistical forecasting and constrained planning and allocation utilizing advanced planning tools such as SAP, Advanced Planner Optimizer (APO) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Experience implementing and leading S&OP processes utilizing advanced tools such as SAP, APO and IBP
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
