Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate /Senior S4HANA FICO Controlling Consultant Start: ASAP Term: 1 year to start Location: Calgary/Hybrid, local consultant highly preferred Job Description: As an SAP CO Consultant, you will be responsible for the Release 2 design, implementation, and support of SAP Controlling (CO) solutions. You will work closely with business representatives to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. Your expertise will help drive efficiency and optimize financial processes within the organization.
Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP CO module with at least 2 implementation and a support project.
Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP CO projects.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of SAP CO modules: CCA, PCA, PC, Internal Orders, CO-PA.
Strong understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PM, PS).
Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP BW/4HANA is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Implementation:
Analyze business requirements and design SAP CO solutions to meet business needs.
Perform process design for Controlling processes. Be ready to describe and explain best practice processes in SAP CO.
Configure SAP CO modules including:
Cost Center Accounting (CCA): Design and Manage cost centers master data, cost elements; Cost Center Planning and Budgeting; Cost allocation through Universal allocation app as well as SAP ECC cost allocation transactions.
Profit Center Accounting (PCA): Design and Manage Profit centers master data; Handle profit center planning, reporting, and analysis, including Flexible hierarchies and Global hierarchies
Product Costing (PC): Implement cost object controlling, cost component structure, Material Ledger with parallel valuation approach and split valuation; Transfer Pricing
Internal Orders: Manage internal order planning, budgeting, settlement and reporting.
Assist with confirmation of Profit and Cost Center Design for remaining releases.
Assist and update the Profit Center Substitution Rules.
Effectively manage and provide support ot the business as part of the Month-end Close Process.
Prepare test scenarios and cases for Controlling processes, and support UAT with the business, coordinate with other teams on the cross-reference topics.
Design and implement SAP CO workflows and authorizations.
Project Management:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD,& PS etc.).
Provide inputs and support for project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Support and Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP CO modules.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP CO configurations and processes.
Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Perform system upgrades and patch management.
Business Interaction:
Collaborate with business users to understand their business processes and requirements.
Provide training and support to end-users.
Prepare and present project status reports to team members.
Conduct workshops and training sessions for the business.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest SAP CO developments and best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.
