Our Client is looking for a Business Analyst for a long-term contract engagement.

Start: November/December 2023
Duration: 12 months
Location: Toronto, ON. 

Role:
A Business Analyst is required with experience in ERP systems, corporate application integrations, and developing enterprise systems requirements and testing plans. 

The Business Analyst will serve as the point of contact to support the enhancement of SAP applications and Customer Experience projects. A primary responsibility will be to determine application requirements through the facilitation of requirement elicitation workshops and documentation. They will provide hands-on support to the business as needed, including investigating issues and working with programmers on completing enhancements on time and with high quality. Additionally this individual will perform as an advisor to end users, guiding and supporting them with a continuous focus on providing customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business activities by gathering new functional requirements and identify areas of potential process improvement.
  • Act as liaison with between IT and end-users to troubleshoot and promptly resolve system problems.
  • Work side by side with the business to ensure their business requirements achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Work with Business to develop and document process flows.
  • Document technical and business processes and procedures.
  • Develop functional and best practice business process knowledge.
  • Prepare test plans and scripts and perform unit and quality assurance testing.
  • Coordinate and drive end-user testing and training.
  • Collaborate with developers and programmers on completing any enhancements.
  • Support Management by providing analysis on issues, explaining variances and impacts, and recommending corrective actions if required.
  • Contributes to process improvements.

Requirements:
  • University degree in business or commerce
  • One or more role applicable professional certifications, e.g., CBAP, PBA, CAP, CBA, SAP Certified Application Associate
  • Minimum of five years related work experience in a Business Analyst capacity, preferably in the Power & Utilities Industry
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA or other SAP modules will be an added advantage
  • Demonstratable experience developing BPMN (Business Process Management) deliverables
  • At least one complete life cycle implementation of an enterprise solution
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Strong documentation skills and keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alteration promptly and efficiently
  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
