Our BC based client requires a Senior SAP HCM Functional Analyst (Canadian Payroll & Time) for S&S and Enhancement activities  focusing on Payroll and Time. Additionally,  assess and document  current SAP Canadian Payroll and Time processes and configuration that will inform a future ERP upgrade or implementation.  This role requires a seasoned individual who has significant experience in providing such services, has a deep understanding of the functional HCM side of SAP ECC, can facilitate sessions with business teams and IT teams, draw out requirements, design and recommend solutions, has hands on experience with making configuration changes and ability to properly document and conduct knowledge transfer to staff members.

Start Date: February  26, 2024
End Date: – August  30, 2024 (with the possibility of extension)
Location: Greater Vancouver Area- Hybrid (Remote & On-site in Burnaby) . ADHOC travel for non locals 


  Required Functional Skills & Qualifications
1. Significant knowledge of business processes used in HR  and other departments within a Public sector organization
2. Senior level expertise in resolution of issues related to SAP HCM Payroll and Time objects and processes
3. Significant configuration knowledge and Functional experience related to Canadian HR/Payroll. Including design for integration to other SAP modules and system applications
4. At least 5 years of experience providing Functional support of business applications in multiple environments (Dev, Test, Production, and others)
5. Strong knowledge of application (and/or application module) installations, configurations, testing, and system validations
6. Ability to effectively architect the solution and integrations between systems
7. Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who takes the initiative and proactively offers suggestions and resolutions
8. Knowledge of full lifecycle application development
9. Minimum 5 years’ experience with the following in SAP: 9.1 HR/Payroll – CLC and Support Packages
9.2 Enhancements/Optimizations
9.3 ESS/MSS
9.4 Time and Attendance (SAP ECC)
9.5 Canadian Payroll (experience with concurrent employment preferred)
 10. Prior to moving any work between environments, provide functional cross-training including preparing and reviewing unit testing results for deliverables. Work with QA Test team for corrections
11. Provide regular communication and documentation for all corrective measures taken, ensuring  IT staff have approved unit and QA testing prior to changes migrating to a new system


Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
