Job Description

Our client has a requirement for an SAP French Instructional Designer
Start Date: March 13, 3035
End Date: May 13, 2025
Location: Work to be carried out remotely from the Consultant’s office, a government laptop and email will be provided but the consultant will be required to use their own cell phone.
The Consultant must be available to attend meetings remotely and on the rare occasion there may be a requirement to travel to Halifax.
Required Qualifications:
The consultant must fulfill the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ previous experience as a French Instructional Designer for training on projects.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong language skills.
  • Team player able to communicate effectively in diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills - listening, written and oral; and
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work.

Desired Qualifications:
It is desirable for the Consultant to have the following qualifications:

  • Detail oriented – experience in fast paced projects.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
  • A self-starter, flexible, can adapt to constant change.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and work independently.
  • Ability to function working remotely, participating in multiple MS Team meetings.
  • Prior experience working with Government/Public Sector SAP projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The French Instructional Designer Consultant is responsible for translating Business Process Procedures (BPP’s) into French simulations, using SAP Enable Now. They will work closely with the existing French instructional designers on the training team. Activities include the following:

  • Run the English BPP through an embedded French translation tool with SAP Enable Now
  • Edit the French content, bubbles and text within the BPP’s.
  • Prepping the slide decks with French screens.
  • Translating the existing Reporting guides into French for Finance.
  • Updates, uploads, and links to all the appropriate course material to be put on the sector websites.

Must have Work Authorization for Canada
