Role: SAP Group Reporting Consultant Duration: July 2026 to October 2026 Client Location: Winnipeg Work Model: Hybrid. 50-75% onsite
Job Description:
The client is undertaking a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA to modernize its enterprise landscape across Finance, Procurement, Service, Maintenance, and Human Resources. The Finance scope includes the implementation of SAP Group Reporting to replace legacy manual financial consolidation processes, enabling integrated and streamlined financial consolidations and elimination. This support requires deep hands-on implementation experience in SAP Finance/Group Reporting, including configuration, testing, defect resolution, cutover and deployment, to ensure successful implementation of the business requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SAP group reporting and consolidation
Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements
Skills:
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
Proficiency in financial consolidation and group reporting processes
Experience with SAP financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Group Reporting, SAC)
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Experience with financial consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and consolidated reporting
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Good communication and collaboration skills
Work Model: Hybrid role: When the candidate is required to travel, it will be Monday to Thursday. They don’t necessarily have to travel every week but should be flexible to travel up to 75% (3 of 4 weeks in a month) of the time. It may be less depending on the month.
