Duration: 12 months
Location: Toronto, on-site once per week
Travel: Yes. Travel required likely once every 2-4 months, for a week. Occasional travel to Toronto if located elsewhere in Canada.

Role:
This position is responsible for both leading the implementation of strategic initiatives through SAP and supporting day to day SAP needs. This position reports to the Director, Finance.
Responsibilities Include:

Being the lead on various implementations where SAP is being used to support strategic initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, plant maintenance, accounts payable automations, and financial reporting projects.

Provide end-user support on Level 1 and Level 2 queries for the following SAP modules: plant maintenance, materials management, purchasing, MRP, FICO (fixed assets/GL/AP/reporting), BASIS and other.

Working with external partners to implement Level 3 changes.

Designing and implementing controls to support both a well-structured ERP system and a more seamless user experience.

Review and optimization of current processes.

Interacting and coordinate with various partners to resolve technical issues. Maintain strong working relationships with external service providers including network administrators and SAP consultants.
Requirements:

Experience in various SAP modules including but not limited to:
-
Plant Maintenance (shutdown planning, warranty management, corrective/preventive/breakdown, internal and external refurbishment)

Purchase Requisitions (release procedures/process improvements)

Purchasing (MRP optimization/PO challenge and process improvements)
-
Materials (new item setup/account assignment)
-
FICO (fixed assets/GL/AP/payment file troubleshooting/financial reporting/internal orders)

Experience with S/4HANA an asset.

Hands on experience supporting users of various skill and experience level.

Experience working collaboratively, managing vendors and leading implementations.

Ability to debug and provide creative solutions.
Working Conditions:

Hybrid work opportunity – in the office approximately 5 days per month.

French and English, both written and oral, is strongly preferred.
-
Travel will be required to build relationships with key personnel and support implementations, particularly during go-lives.
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
