Our client is looking for an SAP Plant Maintenance Consutlant for a perm full-time position. Technical Env. is SAP ECC 6.

• Schedule: 35 hours / week 

• Work model: Hybrid - 1 days onsite per 2 weeks 

• Location: Downtown Montreal  

• Language: Must be French speaking / Bilingual  

Responsibilities:  

Analysis and recommendations: 

• analyzes needs and conducts research; 

• makes recommendations on optimal and innovative solutions, taking into account expressed needs and environmental constraints; 

Maintenance, modification and implementation of technological solutions: 

• manages or participates in the implementation of products or solutions that have an impact on technological activities in its sector; 

• ensures that the applications, systems, programs or computer equipment under its direction are maintained, evolved, updated, implemented and configured in accordance with the standards and methodologies of its department; 

• defines, formalizes, updates or improves processes and procedures related to its sector and sees to their application; 

• supports changes, problems and improvements affecting equipment and technologies in its sector; 

• makes changes and improvements, corrects problems affecting applications, systems, programs or computer equipment; 

• ensures the application of test benches, the performance of systems and the coordination of activities required for implementation; 

• ensures the design and updating of the various documentations inherent to the systems; 

Technology Planning and Recommendations: 

• as a technical specialist in his field, advises users, supervises activities related to his sector of intervention and liaises with other sections of his service; 

• ensures the implementation of maintenance programs and activities as well as the improvement and implementation of computer applications and equipment; 

• develops and analyzes solutions for the evolution and improvement of the information systems of its sector; 

• conducts feasibility studies related to its field of specialization; 

Monitoring of activities and participation in projects: 

• coordinates the implementation and plans of project activities in his/her sector (project schedules, priorities, etc.); 

• supports and provides functional coaching to team staff; 

• may be called upon to represent its sector in other external units or bodies; 

Support and knowledge updating: 

• is a technical reference in its field, disseminates and transmits its knowledge. Keeps abreast of advances and trends related to its field of activities and products; 

• performs other related duties. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in computer science. 

• Have 5 years of relevant experience in: 

• Functional components (tables, transactions, infotypes, etc.) SAP. 

• Terms and tools of the SAP-specific development platform. 

• Configuring modules in SAP. 

• Any combination of relevant training and experience will be considered. 

Mandates and work environment: 

• Significant collaboration with SAP solution maintenance business areas on a variety of priority requests and issues. 

• Works in a context of optimization, improvement, evolution and maintenance of SAP solutions for the maintenance sectors. 

• Works closely with the functional team of the same business area and the development team of the SAP Center of Expertise division. 

? Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of functionalities and configuration related to the service domain (SAP PM (Plant maintenance) functional module). 

• Good knowledge of the methodologies of design, realization and implementation of solutions within the framework of SAP projects. 

• Knowledge of interdependencies/integration points with other SAP modules used at client (PP, FICO, MM, EWM, PS) is an asset. 

• Knowledge of SAP Webdynpro portals and Fiori applications (SAPUI5) is an asset. 

• Analytical skills, customer sense, professional leadership, teamwork, ability to plan and manage priorities, foster innovation and change, autonomy, written communication, effective verbal.
