Our Calgary based O&G client requires Senior ABAP Developers with SAP MGD development experience to join an inflight S4HANA Implementation project and deliver SAP MDG related enhancements. The role requires knowledge of SAP MDG as noted below, in addition to standard ABAP skills – SAP ABAP, Obj Oriented ABAP, Business Technology Platform .
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.

Role: Senior ABAP Developer with MDG
Location: Calgary – Hybrid, 4 onsite:1 remote

Requirements:
- 7+ years ABAP development experience
- Standard ABAP skills – SAP ABAP, Obj Oriented ABAP, Business Technology Platform
- S4HANA implementation Development project experience preferred
- SAP MDG Development experience including :
- SAP MDG configuration and customization; understand the MDG data model, UI modeling, SAP rule-based workflows, and validations/derivation.
- Development of cross entity validation.
- Development of event-based triggers for MDG dynamic framework.
- Knowledge of how to develop custom enhancements, user exits, BADI/BAPI, BRF+ and data validations using ABAP within the MDG framework.
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver business client, Business workflow design, and SAP Fiori for UI development.
- Knowledge of SAP MDG data replication framework (DRF), understanding of data replication methods, such as ALE (Application Link Enabling), IDoc (Intermediate Document), and Web Services.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, ability to design and implement data models for master data entities.
- Development of cross entity validation.
