Our client is looking for an SAP Senior Architect – 5 Day Assessment

- Location: Based in Montreal or closed to Toronto
- Work model : Onsite
- Efforts : 5 days
- Duration: 3-4 weeks
- Language: Bilingual (Preference), English OK
IMPORTANT :
- This is not a build or config role.
- It’s a senior diagnostic engagement.
Mandate: Short-term (5-day) “quick and dirty” assessment of their current SAP environment.
Objective : Review their existing SAP architecture, reporting structure, and master data to identify inefficiencies and provide recommendations to simplify and optimize.
Key Focus Areas
- SAP FI/CO (strong Cost Centre & P&L expertise)
- Complex reporting & mapping structures
- Master data
- Review of system architecture & info flows
- Ability to assess and recommend (not just configure)
What They Need
- Senior-level resource
- Architect-level thinker
- Strong in finance/reporting design
- Comfortable presenting findings to leadership
- Experience doing assessments / optimization reviews
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a rapid assessment of existing SAP system architecture
- Review financial structures, including Cost Centres and P&L reporting
- Evaluate master data design and governance framework
- Analyze reporting complexity and mapping structures
- Review process flows across finance and manufacturing functions
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and structural gaps
- Assess alignment between SAP configuration and business operations
- Provide clear recommendations and a high-level improvement roadmap
- Present findings to executive stakeholders
Must have work authorization in the country where this job is located.
