Our Client is looking for an SAP Senior BW Consultant for a Perm role:
Our Client is building a new SAP team within its Information Technology group to support their current SAP implementation project and provide ongoing support beyond go-live. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, delivery and support of SAP BW and SAP Bl solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, and support initiatives to deliver SAP Bl solutions enabling end user reporting capabilities as well as advanced reporting development and data analysis by power users and Business Intelligence analysts.
- Understand business needs and lead thoughtful design discussions around meeting those business needs in a standard manner, fully leveraging SAP product capabilities.
- Hands-on development and implementation of BW/BI solutions with a focus on complex business units including Retail Store Operations, Product Distribution and Supply Chain, and Financials.
- Assist the business in identifying KPls and defining reports and dashboards.
- Define technical and functional standards and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices.
- Provide daily operational support for application and Bl infrastructure.
- Develop and document technical architecture, system design, and other technical aspects of the implementation.
- Execute and lead testing process (unit and integration test).
- Platform support, monitoring, capacity and utilization management, application security, end user support, training, and documentation.
- Aid in the management of third-party vendors.
- Provide support to management regarding strategy and roadmap planning in the BW/BI area.
- 8+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence with emphasis on business requirements analysis, application design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience in ensuring the data architecture and reporting strategy supports the business requirements.
- Strong experience on SAP BW and SAP Bl tools (Analysis for Office, Business Objects).
- Exposure to new SAP technologies like SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP etc.
- Ability to manage and lead the big projects/strategic initiatives independently.
- Experience that spans design to hands-on configuration and development of the solution. Experience in complex SAP environments.
- BW on HANA and HANA native knowledge and SAP-Business Objects Lumira Designer.
- Programming skills: ABAP, ABAP 00, CDS Views.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business.
- Incisive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience of the consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
- SAP certification(s)
