Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant for a permanent position.
Start: March 2023
Location: Mississauga. ONSITE
Role:
The Senior SAP Consultant will provide internal support of the SAP solution, in particular FI and CO.
This position will be responsible for working with Information Systems staff and be a trusted partner and subject matter expert to business systems users globally. This role will also be critical in leading our transformation from ECC to S/4HANA.
Responsibilities Include:

Configures, supports, and enhances various functional aspects of the SAP system landscape including troubleshooting of application problems, performing system configuration, analysis of business requirements and their translations into SAP specific context

Develops requirements, business specifications, and testing documents. Performs unit testing in development and quality assurance and recommends test scenarios. Assists with UAT and automated test scenarios

Manages daily issues and problem solving related to FICO

Recommends policies/procedures regarding program specific requirements, communicates change to related areas

Researches and recommends enhancements of SAP functional areas including the use and integration of cloud products (such as SAP Analytics Cloud, One source tax solution, Ariba)
Requirements:
-
Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Economics
-
Minimum of five or more years’ experience as an SAP FICO functional analyst or in a similar role
-
Strong SAP FICO background coupled with experience with products such as Concur Invoicing, one source. Good understanding of global intercompany finance and accounting processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills: must demonstrate a strong ‘consulting persona’ to senior business leaders.

Strong knowledge and experience in business process development and design, and familiarity with typical SAP methodology artifacts (e.g., SAP Activate).

Demonstrated integration experience with other related modules (SD, MM, PS, PP, BW, BPC, CRM, PLM).

Experience with S/4 HANA and S/4 Simplification concepts

Participated in SAP upgrade planning and support
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present and explain technical information to non-technical audiences

Experience with at least two full SAP life cycle implementation preferred

SAP Certification and CA, CGA, or similar professional designation preferred
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
