Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Trainer who is bilingual in Spanish and English to deliver end-user training at various warehouse and distribution center locations. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, hands-on SAP experience in warehouse/distribution environments, and a passion for helping others learn new systems.
As a traveling SAP Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering onsite training, supporting go-lives, and ensuring operational staff are comfortable and competent using SAP for daily warehouse functions (e.g., inventory, receiving, shipping, picking, packing, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person SAP training sessions for warehouse and distribution center staff in both English and Spanish
- Customize training delivery to match the local site's processes and users' experience levels
- Develop, update, and translate training materials, job aids, and quick reference guides as needed
- Provide hands-on support during go-lives and system transitions
- Act as the first point of contact for SAP-related user questions and troubleshooting during initial rollout periods
- Collaborate with project managers, site leaders, and IT teams to ensure training aligns with deployment schedules and business needs
- Collect feedback and identify areas for training improvement or retraining
- Maintain detailed training records and reports
Requirements:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- 3+ years of SAP training or super user experience, ideally in WM, EWM, MM, or SD modules
- Strong understanding of warehouse/distribution operations and workflows
- Prior experience in conducting in-person, hands-on training sessions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) to various sites
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and audiences
- Experience creating or modifying training materials a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting SAP go-lives and change management in warehouse environments
- Knowledge of handheld/mobile RF scanning devices and related SAP processes
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and blended training approaches
- Prior experience training in a bilingual or multicultural environment
Note: This is a travel-intensive role. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel, sometimes on short notice, and working in warehouse/distribution center environments.
