Our Calgary based client has a request for a Senior Finance/ Fixed Assets Business Analyst
Start Date: March 3, 2025 or ASAP
End Date: September 2, 2025
Location: Calgary/Remote
In the role of Business Analyst, you would work as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan, design, develop and implement comprehensive business solutions in response to business needs. Knowledge of methods and techniques for business analysis and demonstrated skill in their application to solving business problems are essential. Business Analyst work effectively and efficiently, whether working independently, as a team member or as a team leader. A Business Analyst is adaptable and resourceful and deliver in an agile manor.
Education/Experience
- University degree or college diploma relevant to business analysis or equivalent education and experience.
- 8+ years’ experience required
- Experience building strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems is essential, while familiarity with SAP ECC or Oracle is considered advantageous
Must have:
- Fixed Assets experience
- Experience in Accounting or Finance related roles
- Solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and build strong relationship with key stakeholders
- Strong communication and analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and procedures
- Experience with Business Process Improvements
- Experience with ERP systems is essential
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP ECC or Oracle is considered advantageous
- Process Automation

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Extensive knowledge in requirement elicitation and business process workflows to document requirements
• Eliciting clear business requirements and evaluating scope considering desired outcomes
• Active management of scope and requirement updates to balance changing business needs with delivery capabilities
• Train staff and users to work with applications, systems and/or programs
• Ability to work in a fast paced and high demand environment
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
