Our Calgary based client is in the market for a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst for a 12 month Contract.
Location: REMOTE / Calgary AB, Hybrid ( Local to Calgary a PLUS)
Contract Duration: Feb. 24th, 2025 to Feb. 4th, 2026 (1 Year)
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a talented Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work on key projects aimed at improving their access management, Active Directory clean-up, and Tier 1 administrative rights processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and experience in IAM technologies such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, CyberArk, and Azure PIM.
What You Will Bring (to the Role):
- Eight years of Business Analysis experience, with a focus on IT and Cyber Security.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Identity and Access Management domain.
- Strong understanding of IAM technologies, particularly SailPoint IdentityIQ, CyberArk, and Azure PIM.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and develop practical solutions.
- Experience in requirements gathering and supporting testing activities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven analytical and leadership skills in delivering solutions.
- Proven ability to support the team and help where/when needed— a hands-on approach.

Education/Experience:
- University degree or college diploma relevant to business analysis or equivalent education and experience.
- ERP Experience is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for IAM projects.
- Entitlement Catalog Development: Work with application owners and stakeholders to develop entitlement catalogs for self-service automated user access provisioning as part of the factory onboarding of managed applications.
- Process Definition: Define processes for managing Tier 1 administrative roles and automating the maintenance of stale accounts, including those for employees on long-term leave, sessional workers, deprecated service accounts, and stale contractor accounts.
- Supporting Testing: Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure the solutions meet business needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of IAM solutions.
- Training: Train staff and users to work with applications, systems, and/or programs.
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
