Our client has a requirement for an SAP FI/SD RAR (revenue accounting) Senior Consultant. Please see the following details:
Duration of the contract (start and end date): February to August 2026- with likely extension. Location: Vancouver (hybrid) / full-time (40 hours/week), 50% travel. Travel require: yes, every other week Work Model: Hybrid
Core Functional Expertise
Configure and integrate Finance Revenue Streams with Sales & Distribution (SD), including handling provisional, final, and invoice adjustments.
Lead scenario identification, end to end configuration, baseline system setup, and integration testing for revenue processes.
Provide technical and functional support for Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) requirements.
Hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA RAR (IFRS 15), including performance obligations, fulfillment events, and contract asset/liability postings.
Ability to design custom solutions (e.g., user exits/BAdIs, BRF+, configuration enhancements) to support deferred revenue recognition until transfer of ownership.
Exposure to data migration for revenue contracts and historical adjustments.
Familiarity with pricing/valuation scenarios common in mining (e.g., provisional pricing, revaluation).
