Job Description

Our client is hiring a Senior SAP Finance Consultant
  • Role Type: Contract-to-hire - 6 months contract, potential for permanent conversion
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid; 2 mandatory office days (Wednesday, Thursday) and 4th Friday of each month; remainder remote
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
  • Start Date: Immediate, subject to onboarding and background checks (typically 4 weeks)
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Support and enhance SAP FICO (FI, GL, Group Reporting) modules in a banking environment
    • Address production issues, implement enhancements, and work on strategic projects
    • Analyze end-to-end impacts of configuration changes and clearly communicate solutions to stakeholders
  • Required Skills:
    • Deep hands-on experience with SAP FICO, GL, and Group Reporting in banking/financial services
    • Familiarity with BW integration, ABAP, CDS views, and SAC/AFO (not hands-on, but able to inform decisions)
    • Strong analytical skills for end-to-end solutioning and impact analysis
    • Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts in layman’s terms
    • Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative team player
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Prior SAP experience in banking or financial services (other industries less relevant due to process differences)
    • Exposure to FPSL (nice to have, not mandatory)
  • Soft Skills:
    • Clear, concise communicator; concrete and fact-based information delivery
    • Team-oriented, willing to support colleagues, and strong work ethic
    • Ability to lead processes and drive tasks independently
