Our client is looking for a Senior SAP Functional Analyst - Mobile Applications - for a contract position.
 

• Start date: ASAP
• Schedule: 37,5 – 40 hours / week (Support during outside Business hours could be ask)
• Duration: 6 months + Ren (option)
• Locations: Panama, Colombia, El Salvador, Venezuela –Travel might be required to go to their different offices
• Work model: Hybrid – 1 or 2 days onsite per week
• Language: Bilingualism (English and Spanish) is essential, both oral and written.

Profile

• Senior SAP Functional Analyst (preferably SAP MM) with experience in SAP ECC, strong iOS mobile design understanding (non-developer), the ability to debug backend transactions, and coordinate across different SAP and business teams.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work on both project work and continuous support and enhancements
• Gather business requirements from business users and process owners
• Define functional specifications for mobile applications
• Act as the liaison between business users and the iOS/mobile development team
• Validate and troubleshoot issues across SAP teams (ABAP, iOS/mobile dev, infrastructure, security, data)
• Determine root causes — whether functional (e.g., master data), technical, or infrastructure-related
• Collaborate with the ABAP team on backend logic (not an ABAP developer role)

Technical Skills:

• SAP ECC expertise, especially in SAP MM (Inventory) and FICO modules would be most beneficial (these two modules have a lot of mobile applications) 
• Ability to debug backend transactions and trace issues (functional-level debugging)
• Understand mobile/iOS design concepts well enough to communicate with developers (non-coding role)
• SAP Fiori and SAP BTP knowledge is a strong asset

Additional Requirements & Expectations:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage urgency
• Occasional off-hours support may be required to align with global teams
• Operate at a Senior Consultant level, with a proactive, self-directed mindset
• Strong team player with effective communication across departments

Must have work authorization in the country where this job is located.
